We went in to this IHOP to get a hot turkey sandwich...had an urge for it...not on menu. Ok ordered something else. The server was terrible, young guy comes up to our table ready to order, we said yes,
my husband ordered some roast beef dinner for over 55, and got a side salad. It came and looked like
a childs plate. The salad was ok...just ok, had to walk to counter to ask him for garlic toast. And the correct
salad dressing. Then the bill came....outrageous...35.00 for the worse meal...and a charge of 4.99 for a side
salad where the lettuce smelled like it came out of a bag....Do not go here unless you want pancakes...please.
Don't know what all the hype is all about. First time here, The host was kinda rude
he won't seat people unless all the guests in your party are counted for. you will lose your seats if
you are waiting for 1 more guest just minutes away. "Come Hungry, leave happy". posted throught out
the restaurant. That's promising?! , Well not really. I had the Sampler similar to Whitespots nats hearty Breakfast... Comparing quality, portions and prices.. Whitespot gets the big thumbs up from me. Ihop
just costs too much for small portions.. special jellies and whipcream.. big deal.. not only that, but when you tip from the debit machine, be warned..
you are tipping on top of the hst.. so make sure you tip on the food total only. do not use the preset tipping percentage. what a scam. they don't deserve more than 10% tip..
Mrs. C and I took our usual dinner gang for some brunch action and IHOP was exactly what we were looking for. This location was nice and clean and seemed quite busy for a Saturday afternoon. Service was good throughout the meal, but I am not sure why they put us in a dark booth near the bathroom when there were available booths by the big windows.
We all ordered pancakes, and I decided to try the pumpkin ones which were on special. I came to regret that choice. The flavor was just plain weird, and the syrup only made things worse.... All the other food was good, and the eggs in particular were expertly prepared. Price-wise it was also not a bad deal considering the big portion sizes. I know I will become best friends with a cardiologist soon if I keep eating this kind of food, but I can't help myself. I fear my friends (and my beloved spouse) will suffer a similar fate.
