If you used to eat meat and now miss that real fast food burger experience come here. This burger is spectacular! You order your veggie burger and it is grilled fresh. It does not have weird bits of corn or other veggies in it. It is pure fake meat. You want a combo you get a drink and either onion rings(yeah!) or fries(good ones) - or you can have 'frings" which are some of each! Oh yeah - add cheese! When it's ready, they put it on a whole wheat bun and you tell them what toppings you want - lettuce, tomato raw oinion pickles. mustrad, mayo etc. even hot peppers. The combo is under $7 and it's the best. Try getting any type of veg burger at Rotten Rons or Wendy's. And the Burger king grease burger is gross.
The atmosphere is not great but who cares. Veg heads get here - but leave one for me!
having experienced Harvey's in Alberta and other provinces out east we were happy to see they have a location in the Poco Home Depot.
Burgers are made fresh to order and they taste great. This location is tiny but the young staff do a great job of taking orders and getting hem out quickly - all made to order. Definitely a step up from standard fast food burgers.
Give them a try, you won;t be disappointed!!
Harvey's is a popular chain back east so I was told to give it a try from some folks from Toronto. It is located in a Home Depot store so the surroundings are a little rustic. You place your order & wait as everything is cooked to order & the wait is worth it. I had the Angus Burger & you can select all the toppings that you want plus a huge order of good fries & a drink for under $ 8.00.. Worth every penny and I will return
In the unlikely milieu of a building supplies store one will find this delectable little restaurant which serves excellent hamburgers complete with all the condiments. The quality of the hamburgers is really quite superb and they are surprisingly good. They easily rank with the likes of Burger King or A&W.
The cost is moderate but the food is worth it.
The ambiance is somewhat lacking but what could one expect from the Home Depot porch? But that does not really matter in light of the food quality level.
The service is consistently good and the hamburgers are forthcoming surprisingly quickly, cooked fresh every time.
