Like Cactus Club really expensive but I love it

A favorite of most of my buds, Earls is a delightful place! Their menu is available online and everything is always available, it's too bad that they are sooo expensive we cannot go more. But of course we men know the value is there. And I didnt want any kidz around and there were none around. This was after Christmas and I had my bonus so we headed out to enjoy once again. My meal this time consisted of two large pieces of tender crusted fish, salad, and I ordered beer. I was not hard pressed to eat it all. The service was fast and professional, and the ladies were in short short skirts that we love. My meal cost about $27 without the tips of which I like to leave a lot because the waitresses are just so thin, tall and friendly. 15% all the way. I will be back, definitely!

Earl's in Port Coquitlam is an excellent restaurant and well worth a visit. The food is superb. Of particular note is the Thai noodle salad with chicken. You get a large portion and the dish is most savory. Earl's Bigger Burger is also excellent. The prices are fair and the service is attentive and friendly. Overall, this is a lovely restaurant and is recommended without reservation.

Friendly and helpful waitresses, food is nothing special

Steaks and appitizers are okay but ribs and chicken are mediocre at best. The tandori chicken is very spicy in the Chicken/Rib combo, and there was nothing in the menu to warn patrons about it. The wine selection is okay, but prices very affordable. Most of the wines are $30-33, while one of the wines cost $25.99 at liquor store!! The most expensive wine was 05 Osoyoo Larose grand vin at $65. ($45 retail). I 've never seen markup below 100% at restaurants.

All the waitresses are very friendly and helpful with selctions. I am satisfied overall, but won't go back anytime soon because there are much better food around the block.

I'm Not Normally One for Chains BUT...

This Earl's impressed me...

The service was just one notch below 5 star... Not typical of my previous visits to other Earls... The only thing they lacked was the re-pouring of my wine.

The server was REALLY attentive but not annoying.. She was knowledgeable and suggestive without being pushy...

We had a martini each to start followed by a bottle of wine. Each were fairly priced (wine priced slightly over double retail which is fair).

We had Chicken taco's to start and they were delicious.

My wife had a Mediterranean Pasta with prawns, and I had the half rack of ribs and chicken... They gladly substituted garlic mashed and veggies for me as I didn't feel like warm potato salad and coleslaw. Both entrees were fantastic! They nailed the "casual dining" both for prices and food quality.

Dessert was New York Cheesecake w/blue berries and it was perfect!

We WILL return...

Value Wasn't There

We went for a quick lunch but it was just OKAY. The sandwich was definately not worth the money. It lacked the taste that I was looking for. I expected some bold flavours but was disapointed. The burger was better but I still feel the value was not there.

The restaurant is very well maintained and the service was excellent. That does not make me feel better about the food for the cost.

Pleasant room, nice servers, clean washrooms & ez parking.
The menu changes from time to time. My fave right now are the taco appies / entree.
Wings on Wednesday shouldnt be missed. The pizzas from the tandoori are always good.
Earl's offers great soups, so always ask what their feature is. My favourites are the tomato soups and the mushroom soups. I wonder if they ever make muligatawny?

love the drinks

i usually come here for the drink specials and service is not bad
a lot of the times i go, they do seem to talk a lot amongst themselves but they usually check up on us a few times during the night so i'm not complaining
the food is tasty but a little on the expensive side... but not too bad
and the daily drink specials make up for the food being pricier
fun place to hang out with friends or for a casual date

OK food, OK service, nothing special

Food:
The West Coast Prawn Salad was decent. Large portion and quite filling for salad. The Hickory Back Ribs & Cajun Chicken Combo (Full) was VERY large and could definitely be shared. The chicken was great, although it was a little salty. The back ribs were standard and nothing special. The Earl sized Clam Chowder was delicious as usual though.

Service:
Young waiters/waitresses. A little fake at times but overall a good attitude. Slightly inexperienced.

Value:
Why not pay a little more and go somewhere nicer?

Ambiance:
Dim and noisy. No layout whatsoever -- kind of like a cafeteria with fancy chairs and decorations.

Overall:
Come here for the atmosphere if you want to watch the hockey game or something, but not for food or a formal dinner.

Always a pleasure dining here! The food is wonderful and the prices seemed reasonable. Servers are very friendly and energetic. It's a great place to dine or just relax with friends. They do have fine choices of appetizers!

After I got over the noise level and feeling like a little insignificant fly in a big room, I noticed all the staff walking around real fast and doing much of nothing. Just walking fast, around and around and around, yet I couldn't get anyones attention for another drink. The food was bland and made by someone who doesn't care and I said the last time that I would never return and I mean it this time.
