This place is gross and filthy and that's After they cleaned it up. They used to have a ball pit for the kids we nick named the "Petrie Dish". Bet the Health Dept shut that down.
I ordered a blizzard with extra stuff. The picture on the menu board shows a blizzard filled to the top with a HUGE mountain peak and whipped cream on top. I must must have got the Grand Canyon version. It was only filled to an inch below the rim no whip cream. I complained and was told that's the serving size. I have never seen anything like it. Plus the "extra" candy stuff that cost me well over a dollar was less than in the olden days for a regular one.
Do not go her ever - even to use the bathrooms - they're worse than a porta potty at a beer garden.
I used to take my family here about once a month for a burger and cool treats. Never had a real issue with the food it was always hot and decent.
The issues, sometimes I would wait in line for 20 minutes or more before ordering then another 15-20 minutes for my food. This was never during peak times. No drive through service, they would get more business and would help with the insane lineups. Not to many people eat in, and I understand why. Most tables are dirty and we usually have to clean our own before we sit. There are usually "street people" loitering in the washrooms or outside the 2 entrances. I have had several encounters with pushy pan handlers blocking and smoking at the exits. Several times there would be large groups of people smoking pot at the front entrance hardly moving for people trying to enter the restaurant. I have not been there in over a year and wont go back until they fix these problems.
Just popped in a quick burger and fries and too my disgust I find the worse eatery that I have ever seen. While the staff were friendly I regret to report that this poor excuse for a Dairy Queen was unclean and poorly staffed. After waiting for 10 minutes to place my order for what was considered to be fast food, I was happy to see that my meal was as advertised cooked and still piping hot and relatively quickly.
Unfortunately, they receive a failing grade from me as to be frank, the lettuce on the burger was rotting and the tomato was losing its skin. Fresh ingredients these were not. The bun was stale as was the atmosphere of the aging location. While the price was right for a quick burger and fries, I would have to say that I felt cheated when I opened my meal.
Regardless of the new menu, Dairy Queen should step up the in-store QA in there franchises. This has insured that a once firm believer in Dairy Queen never returns.
