A Church's Chicken franchise in Poco
I was heading over to a friend's house and I offered to bring food. After taking a vote in the car we decided to hit Church's.
This location was much cleaner than most takeout places, and the chicken was hot and ready to go. I had a combo of the regular and spicy.
The manager served us and offered suggestions about what to get after I described the dinner situation. We left with a couple of bags of deep fried delights. The chicken was great. Unfortunately the sides we got were unworthy of Church's fine chicken. The coleslaw was just okay, but the fries and gravy were substandard.
I have to say I can't eat competitors chicken after trying Church's, but the sides really need work. Quite simply, they suck. For the sake of the birds who gave their lives, please improve the sides!
I have been frequenting many Church's chicken establishments in the lower mainland for several years and this Poco location far exceeds the other places in the service category. The chicken is very good, other locations have had dried out chicken, but this location is very consistent. The coleslaw could use some work. The mini chicken burgers are kinda ridiculous. They occasionaly give me an extra piece of chicken, which is nice.
