We enjoy fish and chips, and they do them "good" .. and when we're in town, we always stop in for some!!
A good-sized serving, 'piping hot' to your table, with a great-tasting cold slaw.
We've enjoyed their "take-out" as well, when staying with friends in town, or by ourselves at a nearby hotel.

On Nov.6/08 we treated some out of province guests to an all you can eat halibut special. They were amazed that the halibut was every bit as outstanding as we had proclaimed. The fries are always hot & never greasy. The halibut is simply superb --- the lightest coating over a large piece of fish. The cod is prepared with exactly the same care. The coleslaw is a must. There are daily lunch specials. The food is brought promptly to the table.. The young waitress smiles often. Next time you want to score points with your guests -- just take them to Austin Fish & Chips in Pitt Meadows.
We love this place, and order fish & chips often. My husband's British and misses the fish & chips from back home, but this place comes very close to the real thing. The closest we've ever come to the real thing is the fish & chips place in Fort Langley... now that place is the real deal.
Ilove this place and go often. The best deal in the house is the fish sub for $5.95 and they are open to changing the fish to halibut for a small fee. It is well worth the extra $ to get the halibut. I would highly recommend the halibut .They also have calamari which is hit and miss. It is a great deal but sometimes over cooked or really small tough pieces. Fries are fresh cut.Food is good quality.They have an all you can eat Halibut dinner on Thursdays. They do take out but not delivery. This is one of my favorite local restaurants.
