For anyone who reads this, I would advise you to calculate the full cost on your own (item(s) price + 13% tax) before you pay. When I went into the store tonight for their "Large Pepperoni Pizza for $6.99" I was charged an even $8.00. I didn't think that sounded right and, after using the calculator on my phone, I found out I was right.
$6.99 + 13% = $7.90 NOT $8!
The guy intentionally tried to rip me off because they even use a calculator to figure out the price. When I asked him for a receipt that showed the taxes, he gave me a hard time then looked annoyed when I called him out on the 10 cent overcharge. He DID give it to me in the end but that's not the point...
How much extra money does this place bring in with overcharges? How many of their customers have been blatantly ripped off without realizing it? Aren't we supposed to be able to trust that we're being charged the proper amount for our orders?
I will still go back to this store but I will be using my calculator every time from now on before I hand my money over. I'm also going to stay IN the store while it's being make/cooked because the guy that served me struck me as the type who would have no problem "tampering" with any of my future orders.
