Dropped in for a quick coffee to go. Latte great, baked goods great. Ambiance nice and a tv too. Service was good and the guy was very fine. Go there for coffee you're in Deep Cove. Next time I might try to paninis - they looked good as well

We wanted something relatively quick and yummy, and popped into the Turtle Lounge on a whim. We both ordered paninis and a cappuccino (order/pay at the counter in the back, sit at a table and they bring it out to you). While waiting for our food, we watching a Bond movie on the large screen, and took in the decor. Very thoughtful, interesting touches - surprising ambiance for a place which is in essence a cafe.

When the food arrived, we were already impressed at first glance. My panini was overflowing with chicken and peppers.....and tasted even better than it looked. Cappuccinos were nicely made, proper Italian style. We were very impressed with this little place and will be back. Even has a nice deck out front for a sunny day.

bad manners and bad service

Anywhere else this cafe would not survive. First off I ordered 2 double espressos and got them in paper cups. When I asked for real cups I was told they are too busy to wash dishes. More like lazy seeing as there were no customers behind me waiting for service. At $2.85 an espresso it's nice to have a real cup. Then the barrister talked and mumbled so fast I could barely understand him, when I ordered an americano and a frappe and he asked what kind of milk. Don't cafes normally specify if you want a soy or milk frappe on the menu? I will not be going back and hopefully Deep Cove gets some more coffee places as I am sure they would do well when this place seems to be your only choice. Also rude and impatient when you didn't understand his quick mumbling.
