Tim Hortons was founded in 1964, by hockey legend Tim Horton and they’ve been serving Canadians fresh coffee and donuts for over 40 years. In addition to donuts and coffee, they also offer a variety of freshly made sandwiches and soups.
I wanted to add my voice to the chorus of outrage about the deplorable service at Timmy Ho's. I frequent the NV locations, particularly the one at Cap Mall because I shop in the area. This location is typical of Timmy's. It is reasonably clean, has a decent menu of reasonably priced stuff (when they haven't run out), and it is always crowded. The downside is the service. It is incredibly bad. My most recent visit was last Sunday with some friends. We each ordered different things, Steeped tea and a cookie for me, a tea and muffin for the much loved Mrs. C, chowder and a bun for one of our companions with coffee, and a coffee and doughnut for the fourth in our gang. Incredibly ALL the orders were screwed up in some way. I got the wrong flavored cookie, one in our group received a sandwich instead of a bun (I still wonder about the person who actually ordered the sandwich), the coffee orders were wrong, my tea had cream instead of milk, and Mrs. C's tea was without sugar.
IMHO, the only way to go so terribly wrong is to be deliberately malicious. In the past I have complained to the staff about the mixups, but now I have decided to vote with my feet.
Suddenly S-Bucks is looking a lot better...
