South Castle offers traditional Korean home-cooking in a no-frills atmosphere. Favorites include hotpots, seafood noodles and Korean seafood pizza
I've gone here many times for lunch. Make sure you have an idea of what you want as no one speaks English and I am NOT exaggerating. Do not ask for explanation of menu items...ask, but don't expect anything more than the words that you have just read off the menu that you did not understand.
The cook is super friendly and nice. What he can't communicate, he tries to express with his friendliness and smiles. The waitresses, however, are some of the worst that I have even seen. Not only do they not speak English, but cracking a smile or asking for extra teeth is like pulling teeth.
The lunch boxes range from very good to ok. It really depends on the day and the number of guests they have. But, even on a day that you are there by yourself, food service takes quite a while and don't expect lunch boxes to be the same each time.
For the most part though, the food quality is good and the food is fresh and I like the friendly cook.
