Not my type.

I was in Lynn Valley with friends, when we decided to try it. Rocky Mtn has been open for a couple of months, and we met our server who was friendly & helpful. This place has alot of windows, and is bright & airy, especially if you're looking to enjoy a lunch meal.
As for the restaurant, its not my type of place, I would return to, due to it catering to young families. In one corner, they have a play area for young kids and if I had kids, this might be a place to suit my needs. I also wasn't impressed seeing someone walk in with a small dog, to use the washroom and this dog wasn't certified guide or assistant dog, so they lost points with me on this.
The menu is eclectic, it didn't appeal to me, and we couldn't find anywhere on the menu, that if you want parmasean cheese or chili peppers, there would be added cost of 50 cents each..talk about price inflation, and lost points on this too.
We both ordered pizza's, mine came to $13.00 and my friends $11.00, since we created our own. I liked my friends more, which was vegetarian and mine had ground beef, mushroom, onions, and tasted flat.
Our server was great and helpful, but since it caters to families, and many might want to have adult environment. We both felt it was loud and I doubt I will return.

Solid but missing something....

Taste was really good. I appreciate that the ingredient being mostly organic can be pricey but when you also skimp on the topping then it makes a difference in terms of value. e.g. There are only 8 pieces of tomatoes on the pizza that was cut into 8 slices.
The N Van location's second floor would be a great place for a birthday party with four tables and lots of space. They even have two large TVs up there which may be available for playing videos?
Staff was courteous and attentive. We had a dog tied outside and she offered to bring a bowl of water out for him, which was done within minutes.
The only one disappointment was they don't accept the entertainment coupon that is good for the other location in Kits.

Great food, great atmosphere and so much fun for kids! All that and socially responsible! They're very flexible with their menu, allergy friendly and the food is amazing!I highly recommend it! Make sure to read all the little notes on the walls and in the bathroom, it is really quite impressive how sustainable they are!

New North Shore venue to try out!

Although we have not sat down in the restaurant to eat, we have taken out food orders and attended events in the upstairs loft. I find that the food flavours are fantastic, the combination of ingredients on the organic flatbread pizzas very complimentary to each other and the ambiance upstairs delightful for events. If I was looking for a romantic evening out, this would not be the place, but for good, reasonably price food, we loved it. Brightly lit, spacious underground parking with a private elevator to the restaurant is also a plus on the rainy North Shore.

Was pretty excited about a new place opening in Lynn Valley. Went there at 3pm to try and make a reso for that night (after calling the phone number and getting a mailbox is full msg)-the place was dead and we waited 5-6min for someone to ask if they could help us, but no one did. Only open for 2 weeks and didnt have any hostess or greeter, wow!
Went back at 730pm with family-again NO hostess, waited another 6 min to be talked to, and finally got sat. Waited SERIOUSLY an hour for our pizzas and no one came up to us telling us it was going to come up, and the waitress did no quality check once it arrived, only took our order and gave us the bill. Pizza was ok-a little cheap on the ingridience, but nice to have "healthy pizza"
She also forgot to bring my friends drink order, and they had run out of 2 other drink types.
I wont ever go back, its a shame because its in such a great location..wish someone else jumped on that lease. Fornow, its papa Johns accross the way for us!

We went to this restaurant a few days after it opened, and it was fairly busy. Would recommend making a reservation, especially on a weekend. We were seated on the patio, but directly under a tree. The shade was nice, but we had a few bugs falling on to our table, which was unpleasant. They did have a nice selection of pizzas, and we all enjoyed our meals. Not the best pizza we've had, a bit bland, but certainly tasty enough. It's got a good location that overlooks Lynn Valley Village, and you do feel like you're in a community setting.
