Monarch Bakery is a small venue that sells specialty cakes and pastries. The food is always freshly baked every day.
Despite my pre-Christmas diet I had an unbearable craving for treats, and since I was on Lonsdale it was inevitable that I would smell a bakery. There, like a beacon of baked goods, stood the Monarch Bakery. Since I do not try to fight fate, I decided to head in and get something tasty. The place is very old-school inside, and it is making a brave attempt at being a Euro-bakery. They have a vast selection of tempting items. Service was friendly and fast, so no complaints there. My hungry eyes were immediately drawn to a tray of fresh jelly doughnuts, and I ordered one. At only 83 cents, sin came cheap, and I scampered home and brazenly ate my big clump of calories in front of a startled Mrs. C. It was a delicious experience. As soon as I am back to my regular uncontrolled eating, I will be back for more.
I absolutely love the Copenhagen they make at Monarch Bakery! Absolutely the best, affordable, and delicious. Definately, a must try and I look forward to having my next one sometime soon. They have over 100 different bakery goods to choose from, from bread to cakes. And I heard they are also doing catering services for any public or private event. Come and drop by and you will be amazed.

Everything about this place turns me on. If escapading down Lonsdale with the munchies this place is a must. I cannot walk in here without my taste buds getting a boner; it must be those doughnuts that have the perfect circumference if you know what I mean. They taste good too! The prices are ridiculously sexy, arousing even the wrinkliest gaploinkas. Oh baby.
