I found about this place while I was at Thomas Haas having a cappuccino. It was great and I found out that Thomas Haas uses Moja Coffee. I decided to head to north van last weekend to visit Moja Coffee Cafe -)
It's not that far out of the way, just over the Iron Workers Memorial Bridge and it's about 5 minutes off the freeway.
Place is nice, they roast their own beans in house. Staff seem pretty passionate about their coffee. They didn't have much for food options here, more of a strictly coffee house with a few muffins or pastry type snacks to choose from. I had a cappuccino for $3.75 and it was fantastic, 5 out of 5. I've visited a lot of coffee houses in the lower mainland and Moja makes the best espresso by far. From now on I will only use Moja espresso at my home also (they sell bags of beans for $16)
Worth finding! This is the BEST coffee in town! It surpasses all the other cafés by far. Roasted on the premises, the coffee is creamy and served by baristas or baristi who take pride in the way they prepare their coffees.
You don't expect to find such a cool yet cozy café in this light industrial area of North Vancouver.
