Long's is a sushi restaurant featuring take out and eat-in specials. Closed Sunday.
North Van seems to be getting lots of new restaurants because of all the new developments in town. Some places are better than others. Long's is somewhere in the lower half of the class.
I had the Tuna & Salmon Combo which had a tuna roll, a salmon roll, and 2 pieces each of salmon and tuna nigiri sushi for $8.75. I added a cucumber roll for 2 bucks more. The sushi was competently prepared, but unexceptional. I did note that the proportion of fish in the sushi seemed small.
The place is spartan but clean. It is run by a nice Korean couple. The server/owner is friendly and the sushi chef/owner is competent.
Long's is good if you work nearby and want a bite, but it is not worth going out of your way to eat there.
