I quite enjoy this restaurant. I have been here for lunch. I had the fish and chips. It was pretty good, I was impressed with their bread/cracker bit before the food came.
Went again for dinner. VERY impressed. Bought a coupon for 2 appies, 2 entrees and 1 dessert to share with coffee/tea. The crabcakes were outstanding, which is quite popular.. I had the tenderloin with dungeness crab, mmmmm........ The dessert - napoleon, just wonderful. The tea I chose was mountain berry, which I smelled it on the way to my table.
Definately go back!
The Lobby (bad name) is located in the Pinnacle Hotel on Lower Lonsdale. New place, open less than a year. Went for lunch and they have quite a big menu. Half a dozen appies, sandwiches and about ten entrees. Had the organic salad and it was pretty ordinary. A few cranberries but no nuts nor cheese. Had the pasta with crab. The noodles were angel hair and a bit too thin as it was a bit on the over cooked side. Sufficient crab and sundried tomato sauce was good. Service was good, ambiance is quite nice but there is no view of the water which you would expect from a waterfront property. Value for a hotel restaurant was average but wouldn't go here for lunch on a regular basis.
