Indian Fusion offers a menu of traditional Indian cuisine with a fresh vibrant twist. Authentic spices are blended with fresh ingredients then slow cooked, infusing the food with the unique flavours of India.
I live in North Van and I discovered this place and am so happy I did! I have not tried the pizza, but the Indian food is amazing. Unlike much Indian food it is not too salty, and they spice it just the way you ask for. I usually order over the phone, and the guy is always very friendly, and delivery is always hot and fast as well.
Nice selection of vegetarian and breads! Have not had a bad dish yet!
We met some friends from this side of town here for dinner last night - I'd never heard of this place and I'm so glad we were introduced to it!
We all shared the appetizer platter which was lovely. The pakoras, the chicken, and especially the paneer bites were sooo good. The naan was fluffy and delicious too, not thick and greasy like other naans I've had. Enough for 4 people for 10 bucks was well worth it. For mains we all shared some dishes (malai kofta, butter chicken, bombay curry, veggie korma) that were wonderfully flavored as well. The service was friendly and personal, the ambiance cute and warm and the value exceptional - each main around $11 and we were stuffed.
Yummy Indian worth crossing the bridge for!
My husband and I really enjoy Indian food. Having read the previous reviews, we thought we had found a winner. We decided to dine at home, and ordered take-away. We ordered a Fusion Sampler for a starter, two main courses, rice and Papadums. The Sampler was described as an assortment of four appetizers, what is was was a brown paper bag (no proper container) with an assortment of scraps, looking like left over food, with fat stains on the bag - very unappealing! The two main courses - Bombay Currey (Chicken - hot) and Chicken Tikka Massala (mild-medium) seemed very similar in taste and texture, and with very little chicken in either. The rice was fine, the papadums, despite being packaged separately, were quite broken. The menu states there would be a 10% discount on orders picked up, but that was not offered. All in all, quite an expensive and disappointing meal. We will not be back
I was introduced to this restaurant about 6 months ago and have passed on this gem to friends who have all become Indian Fusion fans. The decor and music is hip and understated. The food is incredibly fresh and made with love. The wait for the well prepared food is worth it. This is not an Indian buffet type of place where the food has been sitting around. Every dish I have tried has been simply outstanding. The fusion sampler platter is to die for-not greasy, just right. The eggplant is divine. This is not your typical mom and pop Indian restaurant. The owners are young and hip and are really trying to make Indian food appeal to a wider audience by mixing traditional items with pizzas-yes Indian pizzas! I have never been disappointed by Indian Fusion and everyone I have introduced the restaurant to has become a big fan. Take out. Eat in. Delivery. Plenty of parking in the area. Worth the trip to the North Shore.
Indian Fusion has simply amazing food. Their prices are reasonable, and it's a nice intimate restaurant to go to on the North Shore. Their servings of Naan bread are generous and delicious (the garlic Naan especially!) I was also pleasantly surprised to find out that all dishes can range from mild to extra hot, depending on personal preference.
Their dishes are always delicious with generous meat portions, and tasty vegetarian alternatives too. Their eggplant bharta is very good. If you haven't experienced it for yourself yet, I suggest you do so!
