A gelato shop in Deep Cove
We love this place, and start and end summer with a gelato from Gelato Express. There is a great choice of flavours and the service is good. It can be busy on a hot day - but that gives you time to decide what flavour you want. My favourite is a double scoop - coffee on the bottom; dark chocolate on the top. The shop separates out the nut free gelato in a separate case to limit cross contamination. This gives us extra comfort for our 2 peanut / nut allergic children. Nothing better than having a delicious gelato in Deep Cove on a summer;s day!
Just because they call it gelato and put it in those trays with decorations on top does not mean it is either gelato or good. This stuff is cheap ice cream dosed out in small portions for average price. The one I had was all grainy like bad ice cream. It was not smooth like GOOd gelato. The flavor was ok. My kid did not like hers or finish it. Nuff said.
This place is great. they serve you well, the ice cream is incredible, and for the great ice cream, the price is ideal. 5 stars for me. I love that place. It is great for the kids too because they can go and watch the train go around the store, while you just sit back with your husband or wife and just chat while the kids follow the train around. The ice cream just relaxes you. GREAT PLACE!
