I have been going here for years now, and have always loved their pizza. It is the crust and the toppings that they put on that make the pizza so delicious. I always order a pizza when I am coming down Grouse Mountain after a long day of snowboarding, and it is ready by the time I get there.
I am a true DDDN pizza fan.
DDDN likely has the best pizza crust I've ever had. It's not thin, but very light and not doughy at all. There is definitely cheaper pizza out there, but rarely is it as tasty. Great lunch special which is two slices and a plate of fries for around five bucks. Super friendly service; the lady running the place even brought my fries and ketchup to the table, along with a glass of ice water. I've never experienced such caring service in a comparable pizza joint. I'm looking forward to my second visit!
Excellent pizza without all the extra crust and goo. A thin crust and just the right amount of toppings without so much cheese that you have everything sliding off. If this is even half-way good for us then it is great deal! We will buy again....and again!
dddn prides itself in making great tasting pizza that's good for you. i'm not a nutrition type, but they aren't greasy monsters like the franchise pizza joints and they are very tasty! great food at good price. there's no messing around with sizes. you get a large or a large... unless you want a slice. in which case you get a slice from a large ;-)
my only complaint is a lack of white table cloths and candles... oh wait! this is a pizza joint! i would give the ambiance a 5 too, but it's just another pizza joint. there isn't a white table cloth in sight, but it's clean. perfect.
the ladies who run the place are kinda like my mom (only they're little asian ladies). they always have big smiles and i'm pretty sure they want to give a hug to everyone who buys their food.
solid 5's from me! i would give the ambiance a 5 too, but i haven't got my hug yet ;-)
