Cinco De Mayo prepares a blend Of Mexican cuisines featuring traditional tacos, original Cinco De Mayo burritos, enchiladas & more.
This place opend up a few months ago and was waiting for an opp to try it. Went on a weekday for lunch. Pretty simple menu, soft tacos, burritos or quesadillas. Tried the soft tacos which came in corn tortillas with your choice of meats. The beef tacos were ok, a bit underseasoned and you get to customize with the staff putting various sauces, lettuce, corn in. The size is small and you would need about 3+ to be full. I prefer the places that have a salsa bar so you can self-customize your toppings. 3 tacos was approx. $7. Overall food was average with the normal service. Probably try it one more time but wouldn't go out of my way to go here.
I heard great things about this place from friends and decided to try it. We both ordered burritos with pulled pork and this is the first time I can honestly say I loved the pulled pork. Everywhere else I ever ate (various types of restaurants) their pulled pork was always watery and flavourless but here - it was not watery and had a lot of flavor - so this is what pulled pork is supposed to tasted like? I definitely will have it here again.
We both ordered their smallest burritos and they were huge, we left stuffed and happy. We will definitely return here and recommend it to all our friends who haven't been here yet.
Came here for the first time tonight and had a burrito grande with chips and salsa.
Was pretty damn fine. Im a picky eater and usually dont have many goods things to say about north van restaurants but if I say Im coming back then just believe me. I dont care about reviews when they go on about how some waitress was rude and that ruined the food blablablalb... it comes down to the food. Place is typico mexican plastic on table cloth style wich is fine.
The Food is Great . period
