Best fresh fruit slush

I just discovered this place in North Vancouver. Delicious fresh fruit slush. I absolutely love their pearls too. I haven't tried the "original" bubble tea but I will work up the courage but the fruit slush are great. The passion fruit slush is over sweet just to warn you. The service is always great, fast and nice. The value is good. A fresh fruit slush costs $3.50 with pearls. I always add extra so another $0.50. The inside has some old couches, I wouldn't sit in there. It hasn't been busy when I go but then again it's November.

you get what you pay for

I was in NV and I was thirsty, so my thoughts turned to bubble tea. This place is conveniently located across the street from London Drugs.

When I first entered I noted that the place looked a bit shabby. On the plus side, they have sofas in the back so you can relax while you wait for your tea. On the downside, those same sofas were occupied by some rather scruffy looking folks, so I wasn't inclined to recline. The friendly server made my BBT quickly, so I didn't have to stand around long.

The tea prices were very cheap. My coconut milk tea was 3 bucks, plus 50 cents for jelly. I noticed my milk tea was basically powder and water, so needless to say it wasn't the best. It was more like coconut-flavored water.

To make matters worse, some of the powder didn't dissolve and there were chunks of it mixed with the ice. Plus, I noticed a distinct coffee flavour. Maybe they should rinse the plastic mixing jar once in a while...

In summary, I relearned the old lesson that you get exactly what you pay for.

Not recommended.

Best Bubble Tea place in town!

I have tried many bubble tea cafes in all Metro Vancouver, but so far, this place is the best for me.
I have tried the one in Park Royal (on the second floor), one in Capilano Mall (near Hallmarks), one on Robson & Denman (apparently, this place is so famous in Metrotown, and opened the second cafe on Robson), one in Aberdeen Centre, etc, etc, but none of them could beat the test of Bubble Tea House on Lonsdale.

My favorite bubble teas are:
(1) Green Tea Slushy
(2) Mango Slushy
(3) Watermelon Slushy
(4) Berry Slushy

I have tried Strawberry Milk bubble tea too and it was really tasty.
I saw many customers ordered Taro Slushy before, although I have never tried it.

If you are in the neighborhood in the summer, and thining to order any Frappacino in the Starbucks, this Bubble Tea House will double the amount of Frappacino, and they are all tasty. Worth a try.....!

I've had bubble tea all over north van and this is my favorite place! I always get the slush ones that they make with real fruit! The ambiance is minimal but there are some comfy couches to sit on. The staff don't speak much english but it adds to the little bubble tea house feel. They are really cute and they try really hard to get you everything you ask for. TRY THIS PLACE, if you enjoy slushy bubble teas you will be happy :)
