Had a craving for ice cream and happened to see a free standing Baskin-Robbins.
Went in with our two children (ages 5 and 3). There were two small tables in the place, but it looked more like a take out establishment.
We ordered two kids scoops (one scoop per kid) at $2.00 each. Hubby and I each had a triple scoop ($5.50 each). The ice cream was decent. The kids had the world class chocolate. Hubby and I had the pistachio almond (a little "too" flavourful - perhaps some artificial flavouring??), the pralines and cream (a personal favourite) and the world class chocolate. We all enjoyed the ice cream. It was not as smooth as gelato, but good, solid hard ice cream that I remember from my childhood in the late 1970's and early 1980's.
I was surprised that they did not serve coffee. It was a rainy day and a nice hot cup of coffee would have been really nice with the ice cream.
Also, I noticed that there was no washroom available for customer use. I guess children would have to hold their little bladders.... It was for this reason that I gave a "one star" to ambiance.
I probably would not bother returning for a sweet treat in the area. No coffee is bad enough. No washrooms?? That just doesn't make sense any establishment serving food/beverages, especially one that is geared towards families with little kids.
