Basil's Subs prepares sandwiches using high quality meats marinated for 72hours with their signature spices. In-house made sauces accompany sandwiches with freshly baked ciabatta bread.
Rainbowcrab and I went here with our groupon. I was very excitied to try the slow roasted lamb. I was sad to discover that they did not have the lamb at this location, but did at the Pemberton location. So I decided to try and roasted sirloin steak sandwich, and chose to have it with mayo, the spicy cilantro sauce ( Mmmm)
red and green peppers,onions and lettuce.
My sandwich was ok,, the meat was very dry. I was so disappointed by this. The sauce and bread were amazing. But that did not make up for the meat.
Rainbowcrab however had a more traditional sandwich. She had the turkey cold cut, and chose the spinich avacado spread, with a variety of veggies. She LOVED her sandwich!
Both sandwiches were huge and worth the money. We both want to go back. Yes i still want to try the lamb.
So will have to let you know how it goes.
Oh and the service was very friendly and helpful.

This has got to be one of the best sandwiches I have eaten in a long time. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. You get to watch them prepare it in front of you. Fresh ciabatta bread toasted and sliced, loaded with pulled pork, real cheese and coleslaw. You can choose your in-house made sauces (quite a few to pick) to complete the sandwich. Just the sandwich would have been filling enough even without the chips and pop.
Staff were nice and it seems the owner is onsite all the time.
Great sandwich, good value, and good staff. Seating is limited so maybe aim for after lunch.
Will definitely add to the lunch rotation.
