Anatoli Souvlaki offers a menu of authentic Greek cuisine for lunch and dinner.
Just moved to North Van and we were happy to check out some local restaurants. Two of us went to Anatoli's expecting great Greek food. How disappointing! Food was awful. The mussels were large but lacked any flavour. Poorly cooked. We waited for the lamb to be cooked (no problem) but it was not worth the wait. The salads were not what I would call a Greek salad. Service was not great. We drowned our disappointing meal in dessert which was edible. We couldn't wait to get out of there. Would not recommend and as I have seen on my travels, there seems to be plenty Greek restaurants to try in this area. Won't be going back.
I was blown away by the food here! I have been eating Greek food my whole life, but I have never had a pork souvlaki like the pork souvlaki at Anatoli's. The spot is really cute and warm, and big! I shared calamari and hummus as a starter with my friend and it was amazing, the hummus is to die for, so garlicy and wonderful! The calamari was crisp and lemoney, and the tzatziki is phenominal. The service was great, friendly and warm. I will for sure be back!!
