Tim Hortons was founded in 1964, by hockey legend Tim Horton and they’ve been serving Canadians fresh coffee and donuts for over 40 years. In addition to donuts and coffee, they also offer a variety of freshly made sandwiches and soups.
We go here for breakfast most weekends, coffee and egg and cheese sandwiches. I guess their sandwiches must be better now than when the previous reviewer went, we have had them many times and they are always hot and fresh. The donuts could be better, but I don't think they have enough people coming in the door on a daily basis to keep fresh ones coming out of the kitchen all the time.
Customers are mostly truckers and other blue collar folks having breakfast, and a few people with kids and some seniors. No bums or weirdos. Plenty of places to sit, washrooms are decent, trash is removed from the tables frequently. What more could you ask for?
I just got a coffee and egg sandwich from the drive through. This has to be one of the worst egg sandwiches I have had from this chain, it was so cold and the edges of the pre-formed scrambled egg looked old and dry. Kinda feeling sick thinking about it.
When Timmys started selling these they were so hot and fresh they would almost melt in your mouth. It seems that now they are established, the quality and freshness on these have dropped. I have had fairly warm egg sandwiches from different TH's but this was so bad I will not be ordering one from here again!
Service at the window was also not very friendly and the person did not seem happy. :(
I was completely horrified by the actions of the staff at this location. Not once, but two weekends in a row. I am not sure who trained them but clearly they did not do a good job. Tim Hortons has always been a friendly environment, even when it can get quite chaotic and busy. For the record it was not busy at this location at all. The staff were literally yelling at eachother pushing orders, name calling, and shoved my order out the window to me. No Hi good morning, or have a nice day. It took everything in me not to go back in there and give them a peice of my mind. I'm assuming the lady in the black shirt was a supervisor or manager, well she was the worst out of the bunch. I've never seen such unprofessionalism. The following weekend I went there again, my mistake. I must have repeated my order 3 times at the window, and was confident she still didn't get it right. I asked her to repeat my order at the window, with irritation in her voice she did, and of course missed half my order. After she fixed it she handed me the debit machine, and leaned out the window an watched me as used the machine, why? I don't know, I'm sure there's other things she could have been doing like preparing my coffee that tasted like pure sugar, or my daughters scolding hot chocolate when I asked for half milk. Get it together! Instead of paying attention to my pin you should have been doing your job, just as i had to get to work im sure the line up of people behind me had somewhere else to be as well: Unfortuntely there's not many tim Hortons in new west, so I may have to put up with these people for the time being, I just hope that someone that has some sort of authority reads these reviews and does something about their staff.
