We had their lunch special recently, $10, for a large number of options. It came with soup, salad, spring roll, rice and entrée. The soup and salad were small but ok. Of course they are just to stimulate or cleanse the palate so I don't expect a lot. The spring roll may have been the best ever. Not a hint of grease. Almost like they were not deep fried. They make them to order not ahead of time. The medium spicy chicken stir fry was very good. Rice was fluffy and seemed lighter than most. This is as good as I've had anywhere including Thailand. It's a definite step up.The staff are friendly and the room just fine. This place is certainly worth a return visit.
The food here is consistently good. We've tried curries, spring rolls, rice and pad thai. The yellow curry is great and we like the sapparod a lot. Spring rolls are deep fried, nuff said. We have eaten in and ordered take out. The restaurant has a nice interior with lots of rich wood which makes for a welcoming and comfortable space. The staff is friendly and calm. We will continue to frequent this eatery.
Its hard to give credit to thai restaurants in metro van having grown up in Thailand and knowing how the food should taste.. This place is the one acception.. Fresh ingredients, not overly oily, or salted, all of the dishes were well balanced exactly how they were meant to be. This is real Thai food run by Thai people. Ambience is comforting and the service caring and courteous. Busy even during the weekdays for dinner. Great first impression of this place. Will share again on follow up experiences.
