I was looking for lunch when I spotted this place. It is nice and clean inside and very modern. They have a bazillion kinds of gelato but I came for food. I had an Italiano panini and an iced mocha. The server was friendly and she was reasonably quick. I also noticed the fact that there were lots of folks just hanging out there, drinking coffees and reading. I like it when a place is welcoming.

The panini was awesome, and my iced mocha was tasty. It wasn't expensive, either.

Recommended for a quick bite or a lick of gelato.

After 5 years Temptation Gelati on Columbia St. in New West has closed. We had enjoyed their food many times over the years, especially the paninis and pumpkin gelati.

It is a sad day indeed. The place will be missed. I guess now I'll have to go over to Commercial Drive for gelati.

Hidden in a strip mall with a deceptive name. This place has so much more than just gelati (though there are a ton of those to choose from). Very tasty, well-priced Panini – even a half Panini and soup will fill you up. Soups are inventive and delicious without being over-salty. A solid lunch - or treat! - location.

This place makes the best soups! They are named after places, like California, Indiana etc. They usually have 2 each day and one of them is always vegetarian but not always vegan. Many of the soups have a bit of curry flavour, but they also have Borscht and a potato soup. Indiana is my current favourite, with chickpeas.

There are a variety of panini sandwiches and some Italian pastries.

The gelato itself is very good. They make it themselves and in the fall they make pumpkin gelato, which tastes like pumpkin pie. It's great!

This is a small place in a little strip mall just off East Columbia Street. The ambiance is average but it's not pretending to be anything more than it is. Staff is friendly and service as fast as they can.

My friends and I dine here once a week to catch up on the new and remember the old. I always enjoy temptations because of the pumpkin gelato, but the paninis are simple and quite tasty. I also recently had a bowl of irish potato chowder... wow that was good. I can still taste the guiness on my breath.

Best ice cream place in town and best food in sapperton.
