An Italian restaurant in the Corporate Inn in New Westminster.
Once upon a time it was a really good place. The previous owner (of the restaurant AND hotel) was a great guy. Even sang to entertain his guests. Then he sold it. I tried it a couple of times after the sale and was disappointed each and every time. The food was cold, service was colder and they never got things right when the food DID arrive.
Would I repeat? Nope never. Two other great places are Amorosa's on 6th and Edmonds and for a bit more $, La Spaghetteria. Both will satisfy nicely.
Rarely can one find a level of service so low that the concept of service should not enter into the description. From the slovenly dressed waiter ( looking like he was called out of a drunken sleep to get to his shift),who disappeared after seating us, to the absence of water, menus and ultimately warm food, this was my worst dining experience that comes to mind. My wife and I sat for about 10 minutes before flagging down a waiter. We eventually got the water and menus. Our food took a very long time, and was sitting on the serve out counter until going cold. We had to ask a waiter to check if that was indeed our order. Other people coming in after us were perplexed by the absence of a host, waiter, bus, or any moving warm bodies. There was core group of patrons well served around the corner of this L shaped room, we were obviously a lower class of customer, as we were virtually ignored.
There was live music, but for those who enjoy the Dean Martin Style of Italian music.
Stay away from this place, that is all I can say.
