Alrighty, the donairs here are great. Fresh and tasty and varied and all the sipt meat doused in beer make for exceptional donairs. What really sets this place apart though is the character of the owner who seems to love pleasing his customers and always puts a smile on your face. The walls are covered with grafitti and the place has become an overnight institution on 12th Street since it opened there in early 2007. If you want great donairs with a bit of free charm and entertainment thrown in try this place.
We live in the neighbourhood and the donairs have been very good; however, in recent months it's difficult to find the place open. Mr. Ben has been on extended vacation and his replacement isn't nearly as good as the original. We hope that Mr. Ben comes back soon and has hours that are more regular.
I've been to a lot of donair places and this is one of the best. Great varieties of donairs and Mr. Ben is a really nice guy. Fresh ingredients and your choice of beef, chicken or lamb. Mushroom beef would have to be my favourite, he uses beer when putting it together. Only gripe would be the long waits when there are more than 4-5 people in there. Other then that, this is my favourite place to grab a bite when it's late. Check this place out!!
