If you're looking a nice quiet place to hole up for breakfast on a rainy Sunday morning... look no further. I've been twice. The service is very friendly and efficient. The breakfast menu is predictable, but I'm not always looking for innovation when I want bacon and eggs. Last time we both ordered eggs, bacon and pancakes. Everything done right and endless coffee refills. No unpleasant surprises. Just a nice quiet room to gather your thoughts and have a quiet conversation while the rain (the endless rain) pours on outside. Sweet.
We started going to Mom's diner 3 years ago for their yummy, cheap breakfasts and great service. Then their $4.99 (for every item!) chinese menu came along and totally impressed us as well. The selection may be a bit limited, and they're only open until 7pm, but we've picked up from here numerous times and never been disappointed.
