I just came back from a shopping trip at Queensborough Landing and stopped in to Extreme Pita for lunch. Being a lover of Pita Pit, it was a great choice for a healthy lunch. My friend and I ordered and chose our toppings. All the staff there were really nice and helpful with filling suggestions.
There was one thing I found very odd. The meat cook had mixed up the prepared pita and got two orders mixed up. Instead of starting fresh, one of them just used his (gloved) hands to remove and switch the toppings. I thought that wasn't very professional since the toppings and sauces were personalized to each person's tastes. Luckily, we're not finicky people. But I still thought since they messed up the orders, they should have started fresh.
I found the pita to be a little bit dry and cracked with each bite. I prefer everything about Pita Pit over Extreme Pita, but it still a good place to eat.
