The Crab Shop serves and sells the freshest crab, halibut, cod, salmon. They also make fish and chips, burger, soups and sandwiches.
Approximately two weeks ago I took a stroll through New West. The Quay (River Market) had a sign that said Hungry Curious, come in. I left hungry and curious where I could get something to eat (that wasn't the Paddle Wheel Pub). Fast forward two weeks and the Crab Shop has opened up.
While it is mainly a fish shop, they do offer a small menu of take out and have a handful of seats. The prices are very good, and the actual fish (I got cod & chips) is very good. Nice thick pieces of perfectly fried fish in a seasoned batter. It was very good indeed. Hopefully the start of more things to come in New West's waterfront.
