My husband and I went here when we went to visit the hospital. The place looked decent and clean but was freezing inside. The waiter was nice and courteous. We ordered miso, gyoza's and 3 different kinds of rolls. The rolls came with 4 pieces only and fell apart easily. The miso soup was the worst kind I have ever tasted (soya sauce couldn't even save it). The food was over priced and lacked any taste. The chicken tasted like it was heated in a microwave and the ginger was dry. My husband ordered the beef teriyaki roll (he never complains about the taste as he's not picky) but he thought it lacked any taste and did not want to return either. We will not be returning. DO NOT ORDER THE GYOZA'S! Puke! Save your money and have a better experience at our favorite place "Sushi Tang" on 6th and 6th. We've been going there for years and they never disappoint with food, price and ambiance...
I used to live right around the corner from this place and I ate there a handful of times. Their rolls are reasonable, especially the yam tempura roll and those type. I had a few sketchy experiences with nigiri and spicy tuna roll, so order carefully especially when it doesn't look busy in there. I prefer Top Sushi down the road from this one.
The value for money is fine - this place is not overpriced. The service is average, but the staff is reasonably friendly and courteous. No complaints there.
The california rollers will love this place, but adventurous types beware.
huge portions, FRESHEST ingredients, great prices and awesome staffers.
Lovely unique rolls for the newbs and the die-hard adventurous trypes alike. Beautiful presentations too. I go here quite often and its our go-to sushi restaurants for all of new west.
parking can be difficult to come by but its worth it. that's for sure
First of all, AMAZING.
Great prices, HUGE quantities, friendly staff, fresh ingredients, quick service and overall a great product for your money.
I work at the Royal Columbian & I go here all the time on my lunch breaks and I don't want to go anywhere else for sushi other than Blue Fin - and I'm from Surrey!
Try it, you won't be disappointed.
Tip: Don't go in large numbered groups because there isn't a whole lot of seating.
