Great atomosphere, great food!

Great pizza, great wings, cold beer, incredible staff! This is my ultime favourite place to eat! You can take the family, go for beers with the guys and even take my old lady out! :) Our whole family loves it! I usually take the family out on a Sunday or a Wednesday, we try to make it a weekly event! My whole hockey team loves the selection of food, because there is more than just pizza and wings (even though those are my faves), they have ribs, pasta, hamburgers, spicy dishes, etc. the list goes on. I love how informative and fun the staff were at this location, they really made our delicious meal an even better experience!

Terrible Restaurant, Will Never Visit Again

I have no doubt in my mind that the user who made the review before me is the owner or an employee at this "restaurant". The visit to Shahi Grill was terrible. I was looking for a place to eat with my wife and saw this place, whose exterior and interior did not look bad. However on a chilly day in November, they did not care to turn on the heat for their customers, we might as well have been eating outside. The chef was was stingy when putting the meat and toppings in the shawarma, we had to ask several times for him to put more.

The food was mediocre at best, and didn't meet the value that we paid for.

Very dissatisfied customer and will never visit again.

Fine Night Out

Went to the restaurant after a friend mentioned it, and am glad I did. The food they have is tasty while not overly spicy, and for the softies, their bread and white sauce really help soothe the tongue after it builds up. The plates are huuuge and their combos are enough for two women to eat (That's what we did!)

The restaurant itself is clean and very nice, with soft lighting and the booths along the wall are really comfortable. I really enjoyed looking at the collage they have on the wall with different pictures of Afghan scenes.

The staff is friendly and attentive and we had a blast on our first visit. The second time we went though, it was so full we ended up leaving without eating. They said the waiting time was over an hour! So beware if you're going at lunch time, cuz it can get really packed!

All the food that they serve is great and variety is also a bonus. This place is always packed on the weekends and for good reason. The hot Sauce is also great. They also do catering which i just did for my sons birthday and everyone loved the food and the reviews i got were good. Will be using them again in he future.

Worst Cupcakes Ever
By hsim1 of Mississauga, Ontario (1 Review)

I hate to say it, but will not be visiting swirls again. I was so disappointed by these cupcakes. Even though I purchased 5 different flavors of cupcakes, they all tasted the same. Basically its the same base for most, chocolate or vanilla and then they put their version of icing on top of it, which was not at all butter cream related. Icing was more of a whip cream base but lardy.
All in all, did not like the cupcakes and will not be going back. Even my 6 year old daughter didn't like them and she loves anything sweet.
Service and staff were unfriendly and not helpful. Take my advice and don't waste your time or money.

Kobe Sushi4555 Hurontario Street, Mississauga
Kobe Sushi is now Pad Thai and Sushi
By Ryan Tripp of Mississauga (1 Review)
Submitted Monday, August 8, 2011 - 10:49am [Dine in]

I have been going to Kobe Sushi now for several years. After the renovations the name changed to Pad Thai and Sushi. Tragically more changed then just the appearance of the location which actually was an improvement. Firstly the servers are now rude and constantly told us that we will get charged if we over order (which we didn't and never have). They messed up several items on our order and tried multiple times to give us items we didn’t order. The previous server knew us and always was very nice and polite. As for the food, my previous lunch favorite was the Fire Dragon Roll which was completely destroyed. It used to be fresh and flavorful and is now bland and stale. The rice was over cooked, the shrimp tempura was dry and cold and the spicy sauce tasted sour. Lastly the new menu items are also bad, the chicken teriyaki was a massive portion of dry over cooked flavorless bites of chicken. The Pad Thai was flavorless as well which was surprising considering the name of the restaurant. Sadly this is the last time I will go to this restaurant after going here consistently once a week for the past two years as well as bring many many guests along with me.

Best Shawarma Outside of Ottawa

I drive 30 minutes from Milton to go to Isis for Shawarma. A new restaurant near Streetsville where the taste is outstanding, the price is very affordable and the owner is polite and attentive! I no longer have to search for a reliable shawarma restaurant. The baba ghanoush is also a solid choice for an appetizer. Unlike some other restaurants, Isis DOES NOT sacrifice quality for price. Keep up the good work!

Submitted Sunday, June 19, 2011 - 8:23pm [Dine in]

I went with my family to celebrate Father's day at Moxie (on Argentia Road), the whole experience was not enjoyable at all, I have ordered the roast beet salad and twice the beets were oxidised and looked really bad to the extent that I did cancel the order, my wine glass was chipped and the food took for ever, the empty plates were on table for more than 1/2 an hour, I had to ask the server to pick them up!!!! but what really made it horrible was that we had to wait for not less than an hour to settle the bill !!!! at the end the server swiped the wrong credit card for my bill !!!!! it was my first time there yes, but definitely the LAST TIME.

The food that is served at Shahi Grill is by far the best food I have tasted in a very long time. The food that is served there ranges from a wide variety of Asian cuisine and Mediterranean food. The have Shawarma, Falafel, Kabobs, Tiqas, Fish! There plates come with rice, salad and nan. There slogan doesn't lie when they say "feast to fit royalty" as the portion sizes are amazing. Not only is the food amazing, the customer service is outstanding. If you want your food to be cooked a certain way, or an add on of some kind without a hesitation the servers will do that for you. The head chef in my opinion has magic in his hands as he is able to make the food taste to delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone, whether it is a colleague, co-worker, friend or wife, Shahi Grill has exceptional food!

i heard about adobo cafe through work as we've been getting catering from them for our meetings. the sandwiches and platters were always spot so i went to check out the cafe, it's a real treat. the food is up to it's usual high standard and the service is a bonus - fun and very personal, the chef seemed to know everyone by name and what each customer liked or didn't like. he was very friendly and welcoming to me. he also had some hot dishes (i think it was jerk chicken) which he changes everyday. i am so glad i discovered this new lunch place in mississauga, i'm getting bored of my usual places and there seems to be a ton of stuff on the menu here to try out. i would definitely recommend people go visit adobo cafe, great food and cozy atmosphere.

Me and my friends (3 of us) went to Bar 4 U a few weeks ago on a Friday night.
When we walked in first thing we noticed is the out standing decor/design.
Modern, warm and cozy.

At first we decided we just pop in for dinner, I ordered a Schnitzel dinner, my friends ordered Pierogies and some Chicken wings. We have to give the food 5 stars. Came in a timely manner served by a kind and always smiling waitress and the food was honestly great!! They have many other dishes and we will definitely be back to try the rest.

After dinner we ended up staying for a few drinks and of course polish beer :).
The atmosphere was great and very welcoming; you just don’t want to leave.

Great place to eat and have a few drinks!!

I've been here a few times, today's experience was rather disappointing. I have a gift card, and they couldn't get it to work. I called the Head Office after I was done about it, they don't have a way to remedy this quickly. I may or may not get a call back. The man at the counter was also super defensive about the giftcard, and it not working...definitely not a place that wants to remedy any situations their customers have.

Word to the wise, don't buy their gift cards, they may or may not get it to work, and you or your friends might be out some cash.

On the food front, everything tastes really fresh - I wouldn't upgrade on the guacamole, they don't put a lot on for the extra $1 to $3. Also, would not buy the chips and salsa again, they give you the tiniest portion of salsa to go with the bag of chips. Everything else is ok.

I just bought two shaweramas from this tiny modern looking restaurant and the food was absolutely delicious.
The owner (or chef) was very friendly and courteous. It is rare that you experience great customer service as well as incredible tasting food at the same time! The shaweramas tasted very authentic and the ingredients were deliciously fresh. I would definitely recommended anybody who has a taste for shaweramas to try them here at least once!

YuMMmmmm!

Buffet with wide variety of items. Steaming hot veggies, crisp chicken wings, succulent sweet and sour pork. Nice spicy stew as well. They also can provide home cooked meals just like mom used to make - Bacon and Eggs, Wide assortment of sandwiches. Spacious and welcoming dining area. Lots of room. Optional Salad bar. Lettuce was crisp and plentiful. All you can eat Buffet and can of pop for under $10. The one complaint is there is never any of those things with the meat in them left for the wanton soup.
