The worst Mexican food ever. My wife and I entered last night to the sound of the owner barking at us at from within the bar area "there are no tables outside only inside!" Not even a "hello, welcome" to greet us. A grumpy old lady who seems to be in a bad mood and here we are wondering what are we doing here. The most rude and inconsiderate experience we have ever had. It was my wife's birthday and she asked me for Mexican food so I Googled the nearest location. What a mistake as it spoiled the whole Birthday event. My wife is Mexican and I have to admit, my wife cooks better Mexican food than this establishment. Aside from the poor overall service and attitude from the owner, the food was overpriced for what you got. Poor taste for the Tinga (pork) and no tortilla with the meal!? Any pure Mexican restaurant will always serve tortilla with any main disk. You may fool the Grin gos Cantina Mexicana, but you will not fool Latinos with your tastless food and the worst restaurant service I have ever seen in my life. I am surprised you are in business and I predict you will close down in the near future.
This appears to be a father and son run eating joint. Son is the waiter and either, he realy hates his job or has very strong bias against serving customers who happen to be of certain skin colour (visible minority). Not only was he downright rude to my wife and my 6 year old son, he said he couldn't care less if we were offended. His dad just looked on and simply shrugged and walked away. Have lived in Canada for years, but this was the first time I have experienced such behaviour from a fellow immigrant!
I really love trying out new restaurants and dine with my friends and family, I was excited to come and check this place Kandaha Kabab which my friend recommended to me. I ordered Sardari Kabab and the serving was HUGE! (which was great. btw)... The Chicken breast was nicely done with so much flavor in it that makes my mouth water even just thinking of it while writing this review...lol
I would recommend checking out this place and see for yourself! I going back there this weekend for sure!
This is one of my favorite places to eat the food is really good and the service is good. I did had to wait for some time but it was worth it. My friends and I had a great time. I would love to visit it again and again. :)
Shami Restaurant is the best in Mississauga,
The Food always fresh and the Service is professional, you don't find it somewhere else,
The Owner is very polite and takes care of the clients
My family and I love it and now my friends started to join us for dinner every week
He has the best Falafel and Shawarma
What we like in there is the friendly atmosphere and the quality food
You must try it!
I think that's just his face. I've seen him greet who I presume to be regulars with fist bumps/hand shakes sounding jovial and all....with the same face on. He is a little hard to understand, but always hooks the wife up with free mayo for the fries.
I am however annoyed at their being no ketchup available on the tables or somewhere else central. You gotta' go ASK for some!
Food = 9/10. You can definitely taste the halal difference.
I was amazed to see such a nice and clean pizza joint in Mississauga. The food is really great and they have burgers now as well which are really mouth watering and tooo filling. Service is really fast and efficient. Staff is courtious. And above all their prices are reasonable and affordable. Would highly recommend this place for a good night out.
Good work Pizza Ten....Keep it up, cheers
Is it a Halal restaurant?
It look like to me it own by Ahmadi, may someone confirm??
I ate our there but look like to me it is not a Muslim place??? Can someone confirm that it is not Ahmadi restaurant??? ? ? ? ? ? ?? ? ? ? ? ?? ? ? ? ?? ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????
I did absolutely love the food. Was a great experience. Not sure it was worth $50 for two people but I am glad I can cross it off my list. Atmosphere is that of any cheap sushi restaurant. would recommend anybody going to request the bar. Watching the food being made will perhaps enhance the experience.
i asked for a jumbo coffee with 6 milks an creammers on the side and was denied them! i wasn't allowed too have both my choice no?
im buying it right?? i just wanted a coffee my way. any ways not the first location either that denied my preference now i have too travell long distance by foot too get my coffee
Pizza Ten is an amazing halal pizza store that also serves incredible burgers. The chicken zinger burgers are to die for, with an interesting kick to them. The chicken itself was a bit dry for my tastes, but that may be due to the option they gave of baking the chicken instead of deep frying it. I am very glad that I randomly spotted this store in Heartland and tried its various dishes. For one, they provide a great variety of flavors of sauces for the chicken wings as well as many a toppings for the pizzas. One hint though, try to eat any pizza you may order as early as possible, as the crust itself is delectable when it's fresh, which is very contrary to others pizza stores I've been to.
All in all, this store is a great find for any fast food lover, with what I believe is a very positive work staff to top it off. I recommend Pizza Ten to anyone looking for a new fast food place to add to their regular roster.
Ordered a dinner take out at the restaurant: Falafel Plate & Chicken Shawarma Plate (See attached images). I was the only customer in the restaurant at the time. The quantity looked ok. At home we were disappointed as the food didnt have any taste. Falafel was cold and hard so I think it must have been made early in the day. Chicken and rice just didnt have any flavor. Both dishes came with salad and hummus. Salad was lots but didnt look fresh so skipped it. Hummus tasted a bit more salty. My Bill came to $15. Wouldn't go there again. I had to order food from another restaurant.
I recently ran a large event at the University of Toronto catered by Konkan Delite, and the buffet was an absolute hit! Of our 1 000 guests, I have yet to hear anything but positive reviews of all the food they provided for us. Our buffet was comprised mainly of selections off their Western menu, which only accounts for a small portion of what they have to offer. They helped us structure our menu with options for most dietary restrictions, which our attendees appreciated very much.
Their service is incredibly friendly, and the value for your money is almost unbelievable. I would definitely encourage anyone in need of catering to give them a call, as I would never again think twice about whom to give my business to!
The menu was simple and in general very good. We went on a Thursday night and wish we bought a bottle of wine. They were featuring "Corkless Thursdays" where we could've bought our own bottle wine and not pay corkage fees. Unheard of on Thursday Nights!! Most Restaurants do it on a Monday or Tuesday but my husband and I love going out later on the week so this works perfectly !
We started off with the scallops, by the end of it we cleaned the plate with the bread! My husband had the lamb burger and it was delicious! I had the Pork tenderloin which was one of their new items and I would have it again and again! The other great thing about this restaurant is that they changed their menu consistently to the seasons! Unlike other restaurants in the area who have the same menu for the past 5-25 years .
Marvelous service by Jose, she is a gem. The general manager checked on us and asked how our evening was which most restaurants never do. He mentioned all the great features they added to the restaurant and I cant wait for their live music coming this weekend.
Solara is a restaurant Mississauga had been waiting for and wish them all the best !
I have been going here with my girlfriends since university. Their products are consistently good. My family also comes by for lunch or dessert on a regular basis. Their homemade ice cream is delicious. Great place to meet up - much better than going to the coffee chain in the same complex. I love supporting this local business - not only because their local but they offer great products.
I have been asked to meet at Panera for meetings three times over the last few months - they have seating, coffee and WiFi. However, I have been disappointed each time with their baked goods. On two occasions I asked them to microwave the item for a few seconds to hopefully soften it. The suprising thing is that I come in the morning - the goods should be fresh. After being to Artisano's (who have great products) Panera is fairly disappointing.
I recently discovered Swirls through a friend who uses them all the time because they are nut-free. I was pleasantly surprised that they use Swiss meringue type icing instead of sugar frosting. My husband and I really really enjoyed the vanilla, lemon and red velvet cupcakes. My kids really loved the chocolate. For the last few weeks (since Christmas) my family has been picking them us as a weekly treat. We love that we can pick up just enough to have a nice dessert. What a great find!
Ok, so i have been to this restaurant numerous times. The food is good but service is terrible. Apparently the owners do not care about any customer service. You just have to be lucky that everyhting should go ok when you dine or take out at this place.
This past tuesday i dropped few people at the toronto airport and decided to do a take out on my way home. I gave my order and everything went well. Just after few minutes when i hopped on the highway , all the food spilled in the car and i got really upset so i called the restaurant and spoke to the server(Varun) who did not seems to really care and i hung up. But after few minutes i called the restaurant again and wanted to speak to the manager. The manager was not there so Varun offered me to put my call throught to the owner to which i agreed, after putting me on the brief hold he said the owners are not here(complete lie). So he said that he can take my number and ask the owners to call me back, i asked him that is it for sure that they will call, then he got confused and said i am not sure. That shows that the owners did not want to deal with the problem. I really did not want anything since i was already away but a little apology but to this date owners hasn't called me back. Varun did not even offer me to replace my meal, forget about the damage done to my car.
Another note- every server has told me that they do not receive tips . The owner keep all the tips so next time if you ever want to leave a tip for a server, please give it in his hand when no one is looking at you. There is no sense of giving extra 15-20 % to the owners. I believe they just take advantage of all the students who are in despirate need of jobs to cover up their educational expenses.
They have lost my business and everyone i know.
Okay, I usually eat at Pho Dau Bo on 1125 Dundas St E
Mississauga, ON. I had no time to drive down there on my dinner break so I decided to walk into Pho 88.
I've been going to this Pho 88 since I was 12 (SINCE 1999).
The flavour was awesome before - the richness of the soup was still there.
I ordered the P.02 - Pho nam Sach (Beef brisket, tendon and tripe.) (medium)
When the waitress gave it to me, THERE WAS NO TRIPE AND TENDON.. Just Beef briskets. I told her about the tripe and tendon missing and her excuse was:
"Ohhh, maybe tripe is so small you don't see it."
What are you talking about? There was NONE~ I am honestly an AVID PHO NOODLE EATER AND SORRY TO SAY, was the FIRST time anyone got my order wrong and give me terrible tasting broth!!
For some ODD reason, the new chef made the soup taste like water, salt and beef fat. No anise, cloves, cinnamon, coriander seed, not even a hint of garlic!!! OMG, WHAT KIND OF PHO NOODLE DISH IS THIS? WATERY SALTY BEEF FAT!
I gave constructive criticism towards the waitress hoping she would pass on the room for improvement. But I'm sure she wanted to ignore me.
This place is not the best place to get the full rich broth you would expect from an authentic Pho Beef Noodle dish.
GO TO PHO DAU BO. THE BEST BROTH IN THE LOCAL AREA!!!!!
The other reviewer got it right on. The food was awful & when we went to return the falafel the staff lady asked if we even knew what it was supposed to taste like! Not like cinnimon patties, jeez. "Salad" was a plate full of parsley & onions with tasteless sauce... really, who can eat a bowl of parsley?!?! The prices were good (now we know why) plus we had a voucher for 50% off.... still not worth it. I mistakenly gave a $5 tip before tasting the food so got $30 worth of food & still went home hungry.
YUCK all around. Do NOT go here, you will regret it!
