Solara features a menu of contemporary Mediterranean cuisine prepared using fresh, local and seasonal ingredients.
The menu was simple and in general very good. We went on a Thursday night and wish we bought a bottle of wine. They were featuring "Corkless Thursdays" where we could've bought our own bottle wine and not pay corkage fees. Unheard of on Thursday Nights!! Most Restaurants do it on a Monday or Tuesday but my husband and I love going out later on the week so this works perfectly !
We started off with the scallops, by the end of it we cleaned the plate with the bread! My husband had the lamb burger and it was delicious! I had the Pork tenderloin which was one of their new items and I would have it again and again! The other great thing about this restaurant is that they changed their menu consistently to the seasons! Unlike other restaurants in the area who have the same menu for the past 5-25 years .
Marvelous service by Jose, she is a gem. The general manager checked on us and asked how our evening was which most restaurants never do. He mentioned all the great features they added to the restaurant and I cant wait for their live music coming this weekend.
Solara is a restaurant Mississauga had been waiting for and wish them all the best !
