Stella’s is known for serving excellent food including the freshest ingredients. They have created a repertoire of cuisine that exudes originality including pub fare, rich pastas, triple A Canadian steaks, tantalizing tapas, pizzas & wide variety of seafood including oysters& halibut, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Went to Stella's tonight and spent three hours in the place, but only one hour actually seated at a table. After being told we could wait 15-20 min for an outdoor table or 30-ish for inside, we waited for an hour and a half. Lots of people who came in behind us got seated. Hostess insisted she hadn't forgotten us. Finally got seated, the food and drinks were not bad. Service was pretty bad. Finally were able to ask for our bill, then waited half an hour to pay because their system crashed. Asked for manual bill twice, overhead the owner say to the server "tell them to wait". Other people comped because of the hassle but they refused our request to reduce the bill. Atmosphere used to be nice in there too, but tonight it was like a sports bar, not what we were looking for, definitely not worth all the waiting. We hadn't been a while, won't bother going back.
