This would be my favorite Chinese food place but I have food them to not be as good as the Prawn Garden when it comes to consistence of the different dishes... I do LOVE their portion sizes though and there food is still really good, just some dishes are better then others.

Not 'fancy', but good value!!

We stopped at Mission to (shop and) enjoy the 'all-you-can-eat' lunch buffet at this restaurant on July 14, on the way back home from a stay in Manning Park. We did all of this last Sept as well, and enjoyed it, so we were looking forward to this return visit.
We arrived at the restaurant at 11:30 am, and were the first ones in and seated -- just in time to watch servers bringing the first food items out of the kitchen, and stocking hot-trays on the two large tables. Heh, a great time to be there -- everything is so fresh, and steaming/piping hot!!
There's a rather large and varied choice of hot offerings for the rather small size of the setup (compared to other places 'of this kind' we know), providing everything from a couple of different kinds of soups, various noodle and rice dishes, various meat and seafood dishes, both with/without veggies, and a small assortment of dim sum dishes as well. And with it being 'szechuan', some of the dishes are truly quite 'spicy hot' and tasty!! Plus, there are two side-tables -- one with salad makings, a selection of fruits, cake, and etc., and another with several tubs of ice cream (which I can never leave alone!!).
The place and food offerings are not "fancy", there really isn't any particularly interesting or unique ambiance to the place, or view from it, but the staff are friendly, cordial, and attentive, and we think the food and dining there represents very good value. For the lunch buffet, the prices were $8.99/adult and $7.99/senior (sorry, I can't recall the price for children).
We have always enjoyed stopping, browsing, and shopping in Mission, and since discovering the Fancy Szechuan Restaurant last year, we have had even more to enjoy during these visits!!
