I've been to this restaurant twice now. The first time was fantastic! Food was fresh, service was great. Then I went there only a few weeks later and had a completely different experience. The service was awful! Didnt get water served for over 20 minutes, and then our food came all at the same time, and the miso soup was cold. I'm not blamming the waitress, she was the only one! The food was not as fresh as the first time.
Wasnt very impressed, wish this place could have been consistent. I will probably go again, because their lunch box was a good deal. (Dinner box, a lot more expensive than other local Japanese restaurants though). But I'm hoping next time there will be more than one waitress, and the miso soup will be hot the next time.
We have been loyal and regular customers of Sushiro for some time now. We found the sushi to be really good but experienced some of the worst customer service we have experienced in restaurants. The resolution of customer service issues involving mistakes to orders (including our most recent take-out order where we got home and discovered that the sauces had been forgotten on half of our ordered rolls!) could have been simple. But rather than offer anything to rectify their mistake such as a discount on our next order or a free sushi roll, on each occasion the management argued amongst themselves in front of us, making us feel very uncomfortable, and then refused to do anything at all to make the situation right. Tonight was strike four, we will not be going to Sushiro again and would not recommend this restaurant until they address their approach to customer service.
