The kind folks at soprano's try,but cannot produce quality pizza pie. I can say this empirically , because of all the pizza i have eaten over north america. The dough has no texture, sauce is soury ,and toppings are mediocre. Not what I was looking for.Quality of meats must improve also, the souvlaki dinner was like eating shoe leather, all in all not very good eating,or value.
Haven't been here in awhile, but thought I'd try them again. Haven't tried the pizza, but the pastas are little more than noodles thrown in with pizza sauce and some toppings covered with cheese... The garlic toast was good.
The prices are quite low here, but you basically get what you pay for. The food was edible, but doubt I'll be back, there are better places.
So my boyfriend doesn't like *my* regular pizza place, so we decided to try somewhere else (he's not from MR) and just kind of randomly picked Soprano's partly because of the name, and also because it's close and we could just walk down.
So we called, and didn't know what we wanted, and they were a little rude, but I know it was busy. When we went in we were like five minutes early and knew we'd be waiting for five minutes, but they acted like we were breathing down their necks. Anyway, *20* minutes later, we got our food. OK, you're busy, but still.
So we got it home, and it was OK, but considering it wasn't cheap, I was expecting more. So like I said, the food is definitely OK, and if someone else wants to order from there, I won't object, but I don't think I'll be going back on my own choice.
I used to buy my pizza from another locally owned store, but they changed their pizza and not for the better. Luckily, I found Soprano's. Every pizza I have received from them has been very impressive; from the crust to the volume of toppings.
I know they make their pizza from fresh ingredients and they use a generous amount of them too! I've never heard of them before and I was told that they never advertise. Their business is all based on word-of-mouth. If there were any weakness in their business it's their pick-up area. This area is very basic and lacks the posters, designer colors and glamour that one finds in the other major pizza chains. I guess they put everything into their food not on their walls. Good Pizza, Guys. Keep it up.
