Papa John's is committed to serving superior quality traditional pizza for take out and delivery.
I agree with Mr.Munchy. You definitely have to make sure they're charging you the right price. Bring the flyer/advertisement with you. Although, you really shouldnt have to.
The pizza itself is okay. Quite greasy, but I guess that's to be expected with fast-food type pizza. Nice that they give you a garlic dip and some random peppers, that's a nice touch. The wings arent very good. They were burnt-tasting. If you need a pizza asap, then I guess this place would be okay.
I've ordered here a few times, and when they first opened, the pizza was quite good. The last time I ordered here I think it will be my last. The pizza, in appearance looked great, and had lots of toppings, but the taste was a bit off. The sauce and many of the meats taste like they've been sitting in a fridge for a week and ended up pulling some of them off...the ham was slimy...and rather stale. The last two times ordering here its been like this. The peppers they included were dry and one had brown spots on it like it hadn't been stored correctly. There are better pizza places in the area.
I have stopped by for pizza a few times and while the food is usually yummy the staff are usually clueless. I often have to point our how to ring in my order by referencing the menu. Otherwise I would have been charged $5-$10 too much.
Hopefully they can keep the quality of the food up or I will have to look elsewhere.
I don't recommend the square crust pizza... very dry and not as good as the regular crust. I haven't tried the thin crust.
I had ordered a pizza for delievery, and when they came to the door, their machine for interac was not working properly. So we called the resturant and told them the problem, I told them that I would go up there larer to pay for it, but the store Manager told me that I either paid for it by visa or not get the order, again their machine was not working so that I would have to give her my code on the back, but I would not give her that information, so the manager told the driver to bring back the order. Now I'm not a theif and I would have gone up there to pay for it. To me wasting a pizza a making a custormer unhappy is just wrong. So if I get an apology I may concider to order from ther again.
I have always had a good experience with this Papa John's. I had one experience where they forgot a bottle of pop but came back a few minutes later and gave it and a cinipie to us for no charge. Overall very good food, using fresh ingredients.
