Worst Service & Food!!

This is the worst McDonald's in the lower mainland. Every time, and I mean EVERY time I have driven through my meal is cold, old (I.e. has been sitting on a shelf under a heat lamp for an hour), and wrong. Tonight, my fries were cold to the touch as was my filet o fish. COLD to the touch and shriveled up. The shriveled up thing happens almost every time I order one. For this reason, I have taken the initiative and asked for a "fresh filet" to be made to avoid this, but even when I have ten cars ahead of me, I STILL get sent to the waiting lane where I wait another 5-10 minutes for them to bring out my meal and after sitting in the drive through lane for 15 minutes! This location needs a crew manager and some better training because these kids have no idea how to run a "fast" food restaurant. If eating crappy food wasn't a good enough reason for me to avoid McDonald's, I now have another reason to drive BY, at least THIS location.

I would recomment eating-in if you can. The drive-thru service is Soooooo incredibly slow. I've got there several times in the drive-thru to get an ice cream cone. Seriously shouldnt have to wait 10 minutes. So, I got inside now...if at all. The inside is quite nice, it's newly renovated. But like most fast-food restaurants, the service could be better.

Every time that we go through drive thru we are always missing something. We asked for a salad, but we never got a fork, so we couldn't eat it. They'll give us drinks and straws are missing. We got drinks and fries half full. My kid is also missing toys or the yogurt in the happy meal. We asked for a girls toy and they give us a boy toy. We have waited one time 10 minutes to order. Another time, we ordered and the guy asked us to pull to the window, it was taking so long for the line to move. When we got to the window, the guy asked me for my order again. I have also gone inside the restaurant. Service is super slow. Sometimes people are waiting and the employees are socializing behind the counter. They finally acknowledge people after a few minutes. They almost seem to be waiting to see who is going to do some work first. Unfortunately, this is the only McDonalds close to my place.

This is the worst McDonald's Restaurant that I have found. Frequently they do not have the items you ask for, the staff do not appear to care and the service is poor. It seems like the franchaise owners just want the money coming in. They are absentee operators. I can compame this outlet to Cranbrook and a Surrey locations where the staff are professional, the service excellent. These outlets are similar to a restaurant but are fast. Maple Ridge frequently does not have the products. Is there no one who works there that can see or plan ahead? The franchaise should be taken from the owners; it is a disgrace.
