The Frogstone Grill serves a varied menu of homemade, quality meals from salads, soups and burgers to pizza and steaks.
I have eaten at Frogstone at least a dozen times in past 3 years. Service always, prompt, friendly, helpful and reliable. Food always good and have many creative dishes and presentations.
Value is very good. Appies are large servings.
Atmosphere is a little unique and the do well in playng on the frog theme. Positive and pleasant. Must be kid-friendly judging by number of families with kids dining.
Have also disappointed to see some menu items disappear such as the nachos which were a favourite. Even so, menu is diverse enough to have lots to choose from.
Parking is good in the strip mall location.
I will keep going back and recommending to others.
The food is pretty good but now the menu is getting kinda boring.
We find ourselves ordering the same thing everytime because there are just not enough interesting items on the menu to change our minds. Their pasta with rose sauce and the smoke salmon dunker are delicious.
Ask for their daily soup. Most of the time they have awesome tasting soup.
being well off and living in Maple Ridge almost all of my life I have had the chance to eat everywhere at least few times, When the Frogstone first opened yrs ago now. the food was amazing ..fresh.. unique and served fast and well. Could have been me.. could have been the night we were there or even just the server, but our last time there ( yes our last time ) sucked for lack of a better way of putting it, It used to be the place to take our kids and know we would be treated well and eat even better .. Times have changed I guess and the menu hasn't, Service and food has taken a turn for the worse .. too bad The owner ( I have met a few times ) needs to read these reviews and freshen up things for his own benefit in this tough market
This is our default restaurant when we have family in town and need to go eat. The experiences are generally good, I say this because I was really disapointed by my last meal that lacked any flavour and I should have sent it back. Despite this, we have had so many good experiences that we will probably continue to go back.
The ambiance is fun, with bright murals and walls and a bit of an infestation of froggy decor. Nice bathrooms, which is important when you have a baby to change or a diabetic that needs to take insulin, the back handicap washroom is perfect for this.
The menu is nice, but we wish that they would consider some new fresh menu items.
