We've visited your establishment on 2 occasions. The first when you opened and again today. On the first visit it was during the stanley cup playoffs. On this occasion the food was ok nothing special but decent. My complaint on this visit was that there was 2 Canadian teams playing against each other on Hockey night in canada on cbc. but your restaurant had american teams on every tv. Not what I think Don cherry would approve of.
On our visit today for lunch there were 3 tables that had people at them we were the fourth. We tried to order the roast beef sandwich but were told you were out of roast beef. That takes about 4 items off the menu so we both ordered the canadian clubhouse. After waiting 45 minutes for our clubhouses to be made and starving we finally got served. These clubhouses were were a huge disappointment. We both asked for white bread and they came on brown, My wife asked for no lettuce and tomato but it came with both on the sandwich, The bread was soggy and the chicken tasted like it was pulled out of hot water a la subway chicken. another couple came in 20 minutes after us and waited a long time to receive their food and the waitress told them the delay was because all the orders came in at the same time. There were 5 tables of people with none of the tables over 3 people at them. and there order was at least 20 minutes after ours.
The waitress later asked how our lunch was we told her we we very disappointed. She never tried to offer us a discount or anything to make up for our disappointment. My wife barely touched her sandwich I Ate mine as i was starving but could not eat those awful french fries. We paid our $34 and told the waitress we'll never be back.
Not to mention There was a CFL football game on tv but was nowhere to be found on your tv's. This is Canada and I do believe Don Cherry is proud to be Canadian and don't think he would approve of all your American programming being played while Canadian teams are playing. Not mention Having his name associated with terrible service and sub par food.
I believe Don Cherry should know about what kind of Service and food is being pawned off to the people of maple ridge because I'm sure he wouldn't be happy!
