Located right beside the Billy Miner Alehouse, the Billy Miner Cafe is a unique and comfortable spot where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner, while admiring the beautiful Fraser Valley views.
Went to the café (had kids with us) to share a couple of their wood-oven pizzas. Pizzas were not bad, but unfortunately the incredibly slow / inept service overshadows everything. The ambience (we sat out on the patio facing the water) was fantastic - very quaint - great location. The down side - took us over 20 minutes to receive a drink, and over an hour waiting for 2 pizzas. Could not even get an ice tea in under 15 minutes - really no excuse for that. The kicker was when the pizzas arrived - we had to wait another 5 minutes for plates and cheese shakers while our pizza went cold. The waitress had an hour to prepare - can you not bring the needed items prior to the pizza arriving? Would not go again unless it was dead or we had an entire evening to sit around.
