Andiamo's has been using family recipes for over 20 years to create their menu of traditional pizzas and pastas.
Anyone who likes pizza with lots of topping will like this place. Blows all those chains with thin, chincy pizza out of the water. One downside is sometimes the dough gets a little soggy, depending on which pizza you get. Overall great pizza, Im obsessed with their hawaiian.
I picked up my order and took it home. When I opened the box I looked down at something that made me wonder if these folks were proud of thier product or if they had lost that lovin feelin.
Personally, I expected a little more. Local operators are supossed to be betterr than the chains ... they need to hit the books and get the love back into their pizza.
I find myself out in Maple Ridge every once in a while and have had take out pizza from Andiamo's probably 5 or 6 times. I really like it, their pies are thick, loaded with toppings and a lot of cheese. Everytime I've had one I've been very happy with the taste. Not much else to report other than it's a quality pizza.
I've certainly had better pizza although it was ok. The cheese was good, the sauce needs work. What was basically inedible were the wings. I had it to go and when I got back to my hotel I discovered the wings (hot) were basically in a small soup bowl immersed in liquid almost as though they had been boiled. I had one just to see - tossed the rest. There is a good Indian restaurant next door where I will continue to do business. These guys twice - first and last.
At a friends and ordered here. The pie was hot, the pop was cold, the pepperoni was plentiful...the cheese toast is really good! If and when I decide to return to Maple Ridge, I will definatly return to this cute little pizza shop.
Andiamo's slogan is "One bite and you crazy go nuts!" And you do! The traditional sauce, and fresh toppings make this pizza phenominal. The sauce has whole oregano seeds, which is the bomb, in my opinion. Totally worth the fact that it costs a little bit more. Want to be really decadent? Try the garlic cheese bread. To DIE for.
