Simply put, WOW. On two visits, this place is 2 for 2. The portion sizes are amazing and the flavour and quality terrific. The sweet and sour pork is out of this world, gristle-free, tender and delicious. Last visit, just this past weekend, the cold had me yearning for soup...and an inexpensive meal. Cue, WOKing restaurant. The won ton soup is the best I've ever eaten. Perfect broth, crisp vegetables, tender meat and succulent and nicely sized (two-bite) won tons (5 of them in a small)...all for $2.95. If you're a little more hungry (a small bowl was plenty for me that day), get a large for $2 more, or add an egg roll for an extra $1.25. These are no ordinary egg rolls either. About 5'' to 6'' long, filled with shredded veggies and not overly greasy. Served piping hot! There you go, you'd have lunch under $5. This is now my soup destination...they also have war won ton, hot and spicy won ton and others to choose. Try for yourself, you'll see!
Stumbled upon this place for lunch the other day. A patron going in saw me perusing the menu and stopped and went into a rave about the place. I was sold on giving it a try and was so glad I did. Had the $5.50 lunch deal where you pick 3 items. It was great food, really fresh and featured much better quality ingredients than you usually get.
The Lemon Chicken was all white breast meat and delicious. My wife is tougher to please so she put it to the test for dinner tonight. We had the $16.00 deal for 3 full size platters of Chow Mein, BarB Que Pork Fried Rice and Sweet & Sour Pork.
The pork was probably the best I've had with great quality pork that had no gristle etc. Portions were awesome. We have enough for another full dinner. It was way cheaper than going to McDonalds. By FAR the best in Langley!!!!
Great price, large portions. Daily Special (different everyday, offered all day) always good, comes with Wonton Soup. Clean, nice decor. Service is prompt and friendly, really like a place where they're happy to see you. Fresh food, served quick, 10 mins for pick up everytime. Amazing lunch deals on right now, any two items $4.95 or any three items $5.50, generous portions.
Used to go to Grocery Store around the corner, NO MORE, this place is well worth the extra few minutes walk. No stale bad after taste, grumpy counter guy/chef etc...if you frequent the Douglas Park/56th ave/204th area you know what I mean.
