Langley's burried gold!

I happened to stop by Ultimate Seafood Junkies last weekend for fish and chips and I was blown away in every aspect. I never knew this place existed until I heard a couple friends talking about it. The food is better than every fish and chip place out there by far. The way the owner serves the fish is very original, I really think that makes all the difference. I was blown away by the drink selection, I believe there is over 150 varieties of pop. Upon walking in you feel like you are in an authentic British fish shop.

Kudos Ultimate Seafood Junkies on getting a new dedicated customer! Next time I'll have to try out their fish market.

We recently heard this place was fantastic so we decided to give it a try. Great fish and chips. Very few tables so we plan on phoning for take out next time.
As the other reviewer says the owner is very personable. We enjoyed talking to him.
We got some Almond Encrusted Sole from the fish counter before we left which was fantastic for dinner at home.
We will definately be returning.

Favorite Fish & Chips

This place has been open for a few years now. My wife and I have their fish and chips regularly, which come in either cod, halibut, or salmon. I really like the cod, my wife loves the halibut b/c it is a firmer fish. It's cooked fresh right in front of you. But what makes the fish & chips so good is the batter. We've tried fish & chips many places in the Lower Mainland, but this is our favorite. It's what we compare others to. The fries are home cut, but unlike NY Fries, they would need to be double fried to get them as crispy as I'd like.

What really keeps us coming back is the service. The owner is very personable and knows all of his customers. Their seafood counter is smaller compared with other fish shops, but it suffices. Usually carrying halibut, salmon, and a variety of ready to cook fish prepared with rubs & spices. They also have mussels, clams, and fresh shellfish. On occasion the mussels haven't always been great, but a week ago I bought some and they were very fresh.
