This is an absolutely fantastic sushi restaurant. I dont like sushi (or should I say didnt) until I found this place! Now I CRAVE it! Price is a tiny bit higher than usual but the quality MORE than makes up for it. It is just gorgeous inside. I have posted a couple pics and cant wait to see what is added. If I had to make a suggestion this is what I would tell you to get!
Ebi Sunomono is TO DIE FOR! I have never had it this way! Huge prawns, cilantro, MANGO, it is just fantastic.
Spicy Sunflower Roll. AMAZING If you are new to raw fish this is the way to go. Its a great mix.
Sushi Mori Tower! Just beautiful and delicious.
Everything is presented beautifully and the quality of the raw fish is to die for! Give them a try!
I always enjoy dining at Sushi Mori as the service is always very friendly and the ambience of the restaurant is fun with sakura blossoms overhead and lots of detail in decor. The menu offers a great selection and has many interesting and creative rolls. I don't like a lot of sauces on my rolls so I haven't experimented that much with too much of the menu but my more adventurous dining partners enjoy most of what they order. Overall it is one of my favourite places to order take out from since the quality of the food is very good and they are quick and have never gotten my order wrong.
Watch out Damiko, Mori sushi might move into number one. The food was a small touch pricier than I would like to see but on par with damiko. The ambiance is excellent . Innovative blossoming trees and traditional style seating. The food tasted very good. I would like to see bento boxes on the dinner menu at around 14$ chirashi would also be better at 13.95 I would order it at that price but not at 17$ however, the ambiance is very nice. I very rarely eve say that about any restaurant. I would say its equivalent to Japanese food as Olive Garden is to Italian in terms of Decore.
I've got my eye on this restaurant as its a hidden gem which I'm sure will soon have a line up out the door.
