Me and my boyfriend tried a few restuarants before but this was by far the best. The ceasar salad was just great. We ordered a banana flambe and were amazed when they brought out a cart and cooked it in front of our eyes, the service was just incredible. I am going to tell everyone I know about this place.
I hadn't been to this restaurant in years and last minute decided to take our Mom for her birthday. It was a Thursday night and not busy - we wondered why.
I hope it is not from a few bad reviews on websites. This place is really very nice and hands down better than all the busy chains up in the Grove or the bypass. Service was excellent.
We ordered the schnitzel, rack of lamb, & shortribs. All the meals were hot, well presented, and good size. No skimping here! The meat was tender the taste excellent - we were very impressed especially considering the value.
Definately coming back - Friday night is Prime Rib night for $19.99 8oz!

Had not been to this restaurant for several years, obviously it had not left a lasting impression on us, but we decided to give it another try, mainly because a couple of other places we had tried were booked solid.
Wish we had turned around and left before we got seated, the place has a fusty smell, perhaps the tarp on the roof had something to do with it, and the place was half empty, an unusual situation in Langley on a Saturday evening!
The decor is really sad, it used to be a Schnitzel Restaurant yeas ago and the decor has never been changed.
I had the salmon, it came drenched in a barbeque sauce, it tasted not too bad once I scraped all of the sauce off, my partner had the schnitzel and I don't think I have ever tasted anything so bad.
He said it was tasteless, so I sampled it. He was wrong, it tasted like cheap cooking oil. The waitress asked how the meals were and we complained about the Schnitzel, the manager showed up and suggested that we probably weren't used to eating veal, very condescending. Then he explained that they cook it by brushing it with olive oil and then grilling it.
I think they forgot the grilling part.
They did offer to bring something else, but at that point, we had lost confidence in them being able to deliver good food and frankly the smell of the place was getting a bit nauseating.
The waitress was obviously in a snit, she refused to make eye contact from then on and the verbal contact was reduced to grunts.
The bill was delivered, there was no adjustment made to the price of the meals and no apology.
Needless to say we will never go back, the place has no saving graces. Overall the food was badly prepared, there was zero ambiance, the prices are high and the service was very unprofessional. I would also question the cleanliness.
Went to the Sonoma Grill for a birthday lunch and was very very pleased. The wine was good, the food was excellent. Highly recommend the Sonoma Wrap. Simple, smallish portions, but very good quality. Very attentive service. All in all, a very pleasing experience.
