I have been at the pub a few times. The waitresses are awesome and hot :)... They continuously check up on you. The down side is, some of the waitresses lack in the smiling department, but, all is good. The food isn't bad. It was served quick and very tasty. I'll deffinitely be going back for more.
We used to frequent the Rendezvous quite often as it was a short walk from home. Our large group used to go there for a pub night at least twice a month - we will no longer be back. The menu has changed from great inexpensive pub food to expensive trying to be classy food. I don't know who would want to pay $9 for 4 potato skins, or $12 for a tiny spinach salad. I have no problem paying that much for good food, or large portions. But when going to a PUB, I like PUB FOOD. I hope they bring some of the old items back.. it used to be a great pub - Too bad.
Gone are the days when this used to be the place to go. When you had great staff and food in the past and now you have nothing really exciting to write about. The old days when you had Denis running the kitchen with Mike and great floor staff like Marcia,Wendy, Diane, etc.... things were great. but now the quality of the food is very poor and alot of the service staff matches the food. The only good thing I can say is that Wendy, Marcia, Diane and Patrick (one of the best bartenders I have known) are still around. Sorry but the truth hurts, the change was no good
Members of our Spiritual Community have been having lunch here on Sundays for over a year. There is a great varied menu, consistently well cooked food, good portions, and great service (especially Wendy).
